Bruce is 52, and has lived in St Ives with his wife, and two children for the last 21 years. He is a chartered psychologist and has been helping people achieve their outcomes since starting up his business "Achieving Lives" in 1995. He obtained his psychology degree from The Open University, and it is at this time he became interested in how counselling could help individuals live more productive lives. He went on to do his NLP training with British Hypnosis Research, at the Royal Masonic Hospital in London. His Post Graduate training in NLP, and Ericksonian Hypnosis was externally accredited by the British Complementary Medicine Association. He is also an accredited Master practitioner and trainer of NLP with the Association of NLP. Bruce is interested in how hypnosis helps employers, and employees achieve and maintain productive emotional/cognitive states in the workplace, despite the inevitable pressures. He obtained his Masters degree in occupational and organisational psychology at the University of East London, where he has worked as an associate lecturer in cognitive counselling. Bruce was a founding council member of the leading coaching organization "The association for coaching". He is presently an accredited coach and on the AC's assessors panel. Bruce is a registered psychotherapist with the NLPtCA which is a member organization of the UKCP. Finally Bruce uses hypnosis and NLP to help sportspeople achieve their sporting outcomes, himself being proud of a 2:28 marathon!! |
